You don't sign up or log in to use Skip Level, and we don't ask for your name or email address. Job alerts and the newsletter aren't live yet, so the site doesn't collect email addresses.

"My scope" stays in your browser

If you fill in "My scope" (team size, direct reports, whether you manage managers), it's saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It isn't sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Saved roles and the tracker stay in your browser

When you save a role or use the tracker (status, dates and notes), it's stored in your browser's local storage on this device. It isn't sent to us or anyone else, and it doesn't use cookies. "Export JSON" creates the backup file inside your browser; "Import JSON" reads a file you choose without uploading it. "Clear all" on the tracker page, or clearing this site's data in your browser, deletes it.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies or local storage, and it doesn't track you across sites. Like any web host, Cloudflare, which serves this site, also handles standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site.

Filters and links

Your filter choices are kept in the page address (the part after "?") so you can share or bookmark a search. When you click "Apply", you go to the company's own job site, and their privacy policy applies there.
